The client’s goal was ambitious: to create a “total look” collection capable of furnishing diverse zones within a hospitality project, from the lobby lounge to the restaurant dining area. The challenge was to translate the visual identity of the “Softa” upholstery (soft, welcoming, generous) into rigid elements like dining tables and chairs, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic language across significantly different functional typologies.
To maintain consistency across such a wide range of products (from soft sofas to coffee tables), we focused on a shared architectural detail: the recessed plinth base and the balance between volume and lightness. For the upholstered pieces, we used scale modeling to validate the proportions, ensuring the sofas looked generous but not heavy. For the rigid elements (tables and chairs), we echoed these curves and the “floating” sensation, creating a dialogue between the soft lounge area and the structured dining space.
One-Stop Solution: Enables architects to specify a single collection for multiple areas of a project (Lounge + Dining), simplifying procurement.
Visual Consistency: Guarantees a seamless aesthetic flow between the relax areas and the functional zones.
Scalability: The shared design DNA allowed for efficient expansion from a single armchair to a complete 6-piece ecosystem.
