The Brief: A Multi-Scenario System
The outdoor contract market requires products that are not only durable but deeply adaptable to different environments—from a seaside resort to a mountain terrace. The client needed a versatile furniture system capable of furnishing diverse zones (Lounge, Dining, Bar) with a unified aesthetic. The challenge was to integrate premium materials like wood and stone into a functional design that could withstand the elements while offering architects the flexibility to fit multiple design scenarios.
Design Strategy: Material Layering
We developed a design language based on tactile contrast. The solid structure in treated timber provides a warm, architectural skeleton, while the natural stone tops on the tables add permanence and luxury. The defining element remains the customizable wrap-around fascia on the upholstered pieces. This technical layer allows the system to change character completely—blending in or standing out—depending on the fabric choice, making Vesta the perfect chameleon for high-end hospitality projects.
